Plain language on how the browser-only toolkit handles data, analytics, and ads.

Last updated · November 29, 2025

Key promises

No upload model

All processing happens inside your browser. Inputs never touch a GenTrade server.

Minimal analytics

Only aggregated, non-identifiable metrics (browser, OS, page hits) guide roadmap calls.

Tasteful ads only

Google AdSense funds hosting. Advertisers cannot read, store, or reuse your payloads.

1. Browser-only processing

Every calculator, formatter, and creative lab runs locally using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Paste data with confidence—nothing is uploaded, logged, or replayed. Closing the tab clears your state unless you explicitly save preferences.

2. Analytics signals we collect

To understand which tools deserve maintenance or upgrades, lightweight analytics record anonymous device metadata and page counts. No IP addresses, payload contents, or fingerprinting scripts are stored.

  • Browser + version
  • Operating system
  • Visited screens and feature toggles
  • Approximate session duration

3. Advertising and sponsorships

Small AdSense placements keep the suite free. Google may use cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out through Google’s Ad Settings or block advertising cookies in your browser.

  • ads.txt lists every authorized seller.
  • No advertiser receives first-party data from GenTrade Tools.
  • Sponsored copy, if present, is explicitly labeled.

4. Storage + security practices

Some tools store preferences (theme, last used tab) in localStorage. You can clear these at any time. There are no databases, sync jobs, or backups containing your data.

  • HTTPS enforced across the domain.
  • Automated dependency upgrades + Snyk scans.
  • Security reports triaged within 48 business hours.

5. Cookies

Essential cookies keep UI state, analytics cookies measure aggregate usage, and AdSense cookies serve relevant ads. Disable them in your browser if you prefer; core tooling will continue to work, though ads may repeat.

6. Children’s privacy

The tools target professionals and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

7. Updates to this policy

If privacy practices change, the policy and “Last updated” stamp will be refreshed. Material updates are summarized in Lab Notes and, when necessary, via banner announcements.

Your controls

  • Request a human-readable summary of any data tied to your contact requests.
  • Ask for corrections or deletion of contact records (applies to inbound email only).
  • Opt out of analytics cookies via your browser or a content blocker.
  • Turn off personalized ads via Google Ad Settings.
  • Clear cached preferences stored in your browser at any time.
